  || Story/ Experience Share, Wels, Austria || The missing cake/  Tips you should notice while sharing a fridge with others In Schooldays, if you are the one like me who stays in a dorm, sharing a public area with others. Usually, the fridge, cooks, and other furniture are for everyone in the room. Then here comes the problem. Due to people's behavior and habits, it might have some arguments in the place. And that is not what we want. Later one, I am gonna share one of my own experience. It is about a missing cake while I am studying abroad in Wels, Austria.  In Austria, you can find lots of different sweets and desserts in locals supermarkets. The cheesecake I share above is the one I get from the supermarket (Eurospar). It is a gift from my friend. The story is that my friend bought it first. However, he didn't like it. || Austria, Europe || The strangers are just a friend you haven't meet yet.  In 2020, I had the opportunity to visit Austria as an exchange student. As you can see, I am here for Studying. Basically, I am traveling alone and with lots of luggage on. When I have to move around, It looks stupid.  The flight I took is a straight flight from Taipei to Vienna, so more than 80 % of passengers on the airplane were Taiwanese. Not surprised that the passenger next to me was also a Taiwanese. And the story starts here. When we were pretty close to our destination, flight attendants started to pass down the Customs Declaration Card. You had two different languages to chose from. One was written in English and the other one was in German. For me, I go with the English one, cause my German wasn't that fluent yet.  My seat on this flight was by the window. I loved the window seats so much because usually I slept through the whole trip on a plane and don't want to get bothered by others...

  || Vienna, Austria || What surprised me when I just got there? What should I aware of? Before we start the story, allow me to share some background knowledge about the situation. I visited Vienna in February 2020. It was a cold cold winter. I was here for being an exchange student in Wels. The reason why I was in Vienna was that first, they had a straight flight from Taipei to Vienna which was convenient for me. The second was I had a friend who works here and it was the perfect opportunity to hang out with her again !! Still remembered my flight from Taipei arrive at Vienna international airport in the early morning on Sunday. First, I took the train and walked to my hotel then leave my luggage there, waiting for my friend to catch me up at a cafe. After that, we visited some tourist spots and had a really nice lunch and snacks during the evening. Everything was great and the view was amazing.   || Gmunden, Upper Austria, Austria || What is fun around Gmunden? Should I stay overnight?  Location 📍 First, let us figure out where Gmunden is. The city Gmunden is in the north part of Austria, and it is pretty close to the second busy city, Linz. The city itself is located in the north part of lake Traunsee. During summer, there are lots of activities held by the lake and it is amazing!!  If you google the place " Gmunden ", the map will show you the area. However, the place I've been to is only the north part of it, and it is also where the city hall (main street) is located. So later on, I will show you around some cool places I've been to.  Transportation 🚗 🚆 🚲  Car 🚗  Driving is always the best way to move around in Austria, you can schedule up your plan flexibly. ||  Schoberstein, Upper Austria, Austria  || Hiking experience sharing and some tips for the hike/ Is the hike suitable for the beginner? Location 📍 |  Transportation 🚗  🚞  🚌 |   Google the word " Schoberstein " , then you can find the place you're looking for. This mountain is located in the south part of lake Attersee. When you arrive there, you may see a hotel called "Hotel Post". Next to the hotel, you may see a narrow pathway that is built with rocks. Follow the trail, then after 10-15 minutes, you will see a white house called "St. Nikolaus Kapelle" (If you're not sure, this location can also be found on Google maps). After all this, the hike began. The altitude roughly started at 470m and all the way up to 1040m. It should take 3.0 hours to go on a round trip.  🚗   To get there, the easiest way will be to drive. Search for the place " Schoberstein " or the place " Wei ßenbach "  then just follow the GPS.  🚞  🚌...

  || Langbathsee, Upper Austria, Austria || A secret hidden place/ How do I get there?/  What is the must-do list in this region? Public Transportation ( Train 🚆) If you plan to travel by train in Austria, then the closest train station to this location will be 📍  " Ebensee Bahnhof " . After getting off the train, search 📍 " Vorderer Lngbathsee Trail " on google maps and  follow the path to the destination.  It  would be a 2-hour easy hike in the mountain.  The road to the lake goes along a river and lots of shadows on the way.  Before heading to the lake, I would recommend grabbing some food and drinks in the supermarket. Y ou might feel hungry and energy-burning while hiking.  There are several supermarkets next to the train station (e.g. SPAR / Billa / PENNY ).  Car 🚗 If you are traveling in a group of four,  driving is the most common way to move around in Austria.
